The 'On the Floor' hitmaker - who split from her husband of seven years Marc Anthony, the father of her three-year-old twins Max and Emme, earlier this month - celebrated at the Scarpetta restaurant inside in Fontainebleau hotel in Miami with friends and family, and enjoyed the evening despite her recent personal troubles.
A source told People: "Jennifer looked radiant in a purple and silver evening dress. And when they brought out her birthday cake after the meal, she began to sing.
"She was very happy. The whole group had a blast, staying for hours. They closed down the restaurant."
She enjoyed a night at the Wine Cellar of the Forge on Miami Beach on Friday 22 July, 2011, where she was "chatty" with other revellers at the event and enjoyed an extensive menu of lobster peanut butter and jelly and chocolate souffle.
