MIXTAPE PREMIERE : ROUGH SKETCH BY KROSS (+DOWNLOAD)

Asemota Ize-Iyamu (aka Kross) is a native of Edo State but lived in Lagos most of his life. He is currently studying Information Science in the University OfPretoria, South Africa. His main musically influence is Lil Wayne but also looks up to Drake, Kanye West, MI, Jay-Z and J. Cole.


The 19 year old rapper has garnered quite a lot of fans without a label, videos or a project out. Finally, his much anticipated debut mixtape, "Rough Sketch" has been released on Nigeria's Independence Day (01.10.11) and it contains 16 tracks. It features production and guest appearances from upcoming musicians but majority of the tracks were solely perfomed by Kross. And the mixtape is very Diverse and shows Kross having a different delivery and approach to all the songs.
The mixtape is hosted by Dj Bee.

STRIPEZ- Real Name Tobi Sunmola.. Is A 17 Year Old Talented, Good looking (Nigerian born) UK  rapper, He currently resides in Manchester, UK.  He attended ISLwhere he started rapping in a group called 'Dope Kommunity (ISLs Finest Class Of '010) with  Slim bone, yung boss, Flow smyth(president of dope komm), scarface, k stunna, k swiss and syfer!

This is definitely the most controversial single in Nigeria for the year 2011!

Rugged Records artiste, Chinaydu, releases his new mixtape joint “Mic Snatcher“. On it, he mentions names of several superstars; how he snatches the mic from them, and their different responses. This is another bold move from the guy who hit Alapomeji with “9ice the Ingrate” back in 2010. Aside the controversy, you gotta admit Chinaydu is damn witty! His lines were carefully and effectively constructed. His best effort so far, if you ask me. Creativity at its peak!

GMK(Producer/Rapper) produced a handful of tracks on this, it seems they both go way back based on the style of beats I hear and how Ozzy attacks them. Banky On The Beat is another producer who produced, well.. two lovable tracks I was actually surprised about. Big ups to these dudes on their hardwork.
